Andy began teaching swimming in 1987 at the Iris
Ryker swim school. Before that, he swam competitively
on the swim team at Canoga Park High school. He is
currently certified through the American Red Cross as
a Water Safety Instructor (WSI), as well as certified in
CPR and first aid to ensure the safety of his swimmers.
As a father of two young children, Andy has taken his
love of children and his love of swimming and water,
to provide a nurturing swim school.
Nick trained competitively in swim for 11 years, as well
as won 10 championships in the backstroke. He holds a
Master’s degree and teaching credential in Physical
Education with an emphasis in swim. He is currently
certified in CPR, first Aid and AED training to ensure
the safety of his swimmers. Nick is passionate about
teaching proper technique and stroke development. He is
fluent in both Russian and Armenian languages, and
served in the Armenian military for two years.
